IATSE Local 229 is a group of skilled technicians with experience in the full range of crafts that are associated with theater and entertainment industries. Collectively, our members have expertise in lighting design and operation, audio production, video production, rigging, wardrobe, costume design, hair & makeup, properties, set design, stage carpentry and film production. We have the skills required to handle productions from the initial design phase thru the execution of an event or completion of a production.

Local 229 handles worker referrals for employers producing events in northern Colorado and southern Wyoming. We are members of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employes, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, Its Territories and Canada. Our members are skilled stagehands and theatrical technicians. We can meet all of your labor needs with professional employees who are hard working and experienced in accomplishing the tasks involved in entertainment or trade-show events or all types.
